Power of GeoAI in Design & Efficiency

Geospatial artificial intelligence (GeoAI) blends AI with geospatial data, scientific insights, and technology to rapidly enhance our understanding of business prospects, environmental consequences, and operational hazards. Companies are modernizing their operations for increased scalability through automated data generation and user-friendly spatial tools and algorithms. Moreover, GeoAI plays a pivotal role in elevating design processes and boosting overall efficiency. By harnessing advanced spatial analytics and machine learning techniques, GeoAI optimizes design workflows, identifies potential issues early on, and enhances planning accuracy. These data-driven insights enable more sustainable urban layouts, smarter infrastructure development, and efficient resource allocation, ultimately leading to cost savings and improved operational performance.

Biographical Information

Barış Uz holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in computer engineering and brings over 25 years of experience in GIS technologies. Throughout his career, he has managed a range of domestic and international GIS projects and held several executive roles, including Director of IT, Project Manager, Senior GIS Consultant, and Technical Director at various global companies. He is currently the CEO of Esri Türkiye, the authorized distributor of Esri, the world’s leading geospatial technology provider
